How to connect

how to connect

Connect to our community church groups through the avenue that’s best for you.

Community Groups

The first way to connect at PCC is through our community church groups. These groups include our children ministries, youth group and a variety of adult ministries. Our community groups are easy ways to step into the life of our church, get to know our church, and start growing as a disciple. Each connecting group is centered around something they have in common whether it be an age group, an interest, or gender-based ministries. You can explore some of our adult community groups here. While our community groups are a wonderful way to build some relationships and focus on specific and relevant topics of interest, we believe they are a first level of connecting in our church and we hope they are a step toward deeper connections with a broader group of people.

Church Services and Fellowship Events

Every Sunday, we gather as a church for worship both in person and online. Church services expose you to the broader church and allow you to start building relationships and have shared experiences with a variety of cultures and age groups.

We gather to share in the Lord’s supper, to worship together, read scripture, and hear teaching and preaching rooted in scripture. Each Sunday also provides opportunity to connect with others who are gathered with us that morning. We see our church services and fellowship events (such as shared meals) as an essential part of our walk as disciples and a step towards building relationships that can be lived out in our care groups.

Care Groups

Care groups are a place where each person can gather, grow and go with a small community of believers. We have some groups in our church that have been meeting for years, and others that are brand new. Some groups meet online, some meet in person, and others are a hybrid of both. Our group meetings generally have time for visiting, prayer and scripture study.

Some of our groups take on various ministry projects throughout the year where they can serve together. You can learn more about our care groups here. If you wish to get connected at PCC, joining a care group is one of the best ways to form deep and meaningful relationships within the church. Our desire is to see all individuals at PCC connecting in a care group to help them grow as a disciple and learn to live out their faith.

Special Events

Along with the options above, we also have special events throughout the year including our Missions Weekend and a Christmas Eve service. In summer we have intergenerational services which provide variety and appeal to many age groups. All special events are wonderful ways to connect and to explore who we are. We hope and pray that as you start getting connected here at Parliament Community Church, you will find us a welcoming community and place where you can explore faith and grow as a disciple.
