Soul Care Japanese Translation

Dear friends,

Thank you for your financial support of Gospel outreach campaigns in Japan. One of these projects has been the translation of Dr. Rob Reimer’s book, Soul Care into Japanese, which is currently in the final stages before being complete. Your generosity towards this project has enabled Multiply workers to serve alongside national workers, equipping local churches to reach their own people for Christ.

Less than 1% of Japanese have a saving faith in Jesus, making it one of the world’s largest unreached people groups. The economic recession in recent decades has resulted in many Japanese people struggling with depression and hopelessness, leading to the country having one of the highest suicide rates in the world. It is within this context that the church is leaning in to bring healing through the hope of the Gospel.

The translation of Soul Care into Japanese will provide a valuable ministry tool to reach the lost. The book explores seven principles that are profound healing tools of God and takes the reader on a journey of self-reflection to find freedom and fullness in Christ.

You generous contribution towards this project has enabled the translation and chapter by chapter publishing of Soul Care into an ebook format so that it can be easily and readily accessible as a ministry tool.

Multiply’s global worker, Cory Giesbrecht, reports that from the beginning, the Soul Care translation project has been led by God in miraculous ways. He testifies: “On the same day that we discussed the idea of translating Soul Care into Japanese, and decided that we would start fundraising, we received a donation from parliament in Regina for a special project! We have never had a project nor have we ever requested money for one, yet this money came in on the same day! Praise the Lord!”

On behalf of Multiply and the ministry team in Japan, we want to express our heartfelt thanks to you for your participation in this project. Your ongoing support and prayers are much appreciated and are powerful agents in spreading the hope of the Gospel to a nation that is in desperate need of the saving love of Christ.

Kind regards,
