We received an email a few weeks ago from a young couple which quite literally came out of left field. We have known this couple for about nine years but have not had much contact with them over the last couple years. This couple had been thinking and reflecting about who could challenge them, hear them, encourage them, pray with them, share with them and mentor them. They told us that as they reflected they kept thinking of how we had impacted their lives and that they would love to spend some time journeying with us.

We were quite literally stunned. We had absolutely no idea the impact we had on them and it brought us to tears.

We have since helped them with a yard project. It was great working together. They told us that we have no idea how much that had helped them. It had been an overwhelming project that just never seemed to be finished and we had the privilege of helping them to complete one part. We look forward to seeing how God is going to work in our lives and theirs as we journey together.

We may never know how we impact epopel by the way we live, BUT we do indeed impact others either positively or negatively. My prayer is that I would live my life in such a way that it would glorify God

Colossians 3:17 “And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.:

1 Thessalonians 5:11 “So continue encouraging each other and building each other up…”

We are grateful for the memories we made this past summer with our family. We had all the grandkids out to our trailer for a weekend – they came in family units. Then we had all of our family and Wally’s mom at the campground for a weekend. We did lots of fun activities like water fights and water games, playing board and yard games, mini golf, remote control trucks (the big boys and the little boys), bike rides, and celebrated birthdays. We also took a week by ourselves at a cabin at Good Spirit Lake.

Update of HHMI

We have hired an Executive Director and her name is Janet Dillabaugh. She has a deep love for God and a passion to help the hurting and those in need. She has diverse knowledge and experience which will be a great asset as we move forward at HHMI.

Healing Hearts Regina – We are currently have a Bible study on Sunday evenings. We are still in prayer about what the ministry will look like going forward.

Thank you for your continued prayers as we continue the transition process.
