2022 Advent and Christmas Events at Parliament Community Church

Sunday Services during Advent Online and In Person. November 27th marks the beginning of the Advent season during our worship services. With the lighting of the Advent wreath, singing familiar Christmas carols and reading parts of the Christmas Story… we will help set a space where you can focus on the true meaning of Christmas. Each week we will be hearing a message from Pastor Mike in our Advent sermon series called “Making Room”.

Below is a list of upcoming events at Parliament Community Church.

Ladies Christmas Tea – Dec 1 & 2 @ 6:30 PM

Calling all ladies! We are excited to travel Back to Bethlehem during our PCC Ladies Christmas Tea on December 1 and 2 from 6:30 – 9:00pm (punch at 6:30pm; tea at 7pm). Join us for an evening of singing, reading the Christmas story, and visiting over some delicious treats! Tickets are available to purchase Sundays in the foyer after the service until November 27, or at the church office during office hours. $10 per ticket. Invite your friends, family, or neighbours. All ladies are welcome!

Heritage Builders Banquet – Dec 3 @ 12:00 PM

Join us for our 55+ Heritage Builders Christmas Banquet, catered by Shawn Ross, on December 3 at 12:00pm. Tickets are $22 each and available to purchase on November 20 in the foyer after church or at the office during office hours. Deadline to purchase tickets is November 26.

Children’s Christmas Program – Dec 11 @ 10:45 AM

Our children, from kindergarten to grade 5, will be performing a play and some songs. They have worked hard for several months in their practices. Invite your friends and family to watch our children as they showcase the meaning of Christmas to us!

Blue Christmas – Dec 17 @ 7:00 PM

Online and In person. For many, Christmas time is not always joyous. Whether you have lost a family member, a friend, an unborn child, or anyone else that you are missing this season, we welcome you to join us in remembering them in this special service. We will be lighting candles for each person you have lost. Join us for this Blue Christmas service in the evening, on Saturday, December 17 at 7:00pm. In this service, we will acknowledges our losses, grieve with others, find our support in others and comfort in God who sent us Jesus, our Messiah. Join us online at

Family Christmas Eve Service – Dec 24 @ 5:00 PM

Online and In person. Join us for a Christmas Eve Service geared towards families with young children on December 24th at 5:00pm. This service is fun and uplifting and filled with many classic carols we love to sing at Christmas. We end the service with lighting of glowsticks that children are welcome to bring home. Reflective Christmas Eve Service – Dec 24 @ 7:00 PM

Online and In person. Join us for a reflective Christmas Eve Service on December 24th at 7:00pm. This service is more quiet and reflective, as we reflect on each of the advent candles finally coming to the Christ candle where we celebrate and reflect on the gift of the baby in the manger. We end the service with a time of candle lighting to remind us that Jesus is the light of the world, and the light of our lives. Join us online at

Christmas Day Service – Dec 25 @ 10:45 AM

Online and In person. Join us online Christmas morning at 10:45am for a service of carols and scripture reading. We are streaming at 10:45 am, but the service is available anytime after that for you to share in at home at
